The visit begins with the tasting of the most popular wines of the area: Barbera and Nebbiolo. The focus of tasting the single grape wines is to understand the differences. Furthermore the addition of Barbera d’Alba Superiore and Barbaresco, wines with a longer ageing process, is important to understand the evolution and the transformation of the taste.
On tasting: 4 wines produced from BARBERA (Barbera d’Alba/ Barbera d’Alba superiore) and NEBBIOLO (Langhe Nebbiolo/ Barbaresco) grapes.
Tasting for people who want to learn the substantial differences between the greatest local wines, with particular focus on the “terroir”.
After the visit and the walk in the family vineyards, we will discover the different shades that the traditional vines can show depending on the production and aging process. The wines are tasted through a careful observation of the soil and the single vineyards to which they belong.
